A Marine Biologist from the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur and a diving professional with more than 30 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous research projects related to marine biology and geology, ecology, fisheries, pharmacology, physiology, diving safety, and the development of new techniques and technologies applied to diving.

He holds certifications from several international agencies and has completed dives in tropical and polar environments, at altitude, in freshwater, and in confined environments. He is a member of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences and has contributed to numerous courses and workshops on education, health, medicine, and diving safety. His expertise is also reflected in multiple publications in specialized journals and presentations at symposia and conferences.
